Corkwood Square Mall Opens!
Congratulations! Lukhozi Consulting Engineers are delighted to announce the completion of the Corkwood Square Mall, located between Uitenhage and Dispatch. The mall was officially opened on 28th October 2021 to much celebration and fanfare.
Lukhozi were appointed by Keystone Investments as Civil Engineers for the design and implementation of the mall. Together with Principal Agents & Architects; Hammerhead Design, Quantity Surveyor’s; Executive Surveyor and Contractor; GVK-Siya Zama, the team completed the project on program, despite various engineering challenges and navigating the COVID-19 pandemic.
The 50,000 square meter mall caters to the surrounding communities of Uitenhage, Dispatch and Kwanobuhle. The malls’ tenants consist of well-known anchor tenants, national fashion franchises, restaurants and banks and, with its favorable location the mall is destined to become a popular shopping destination.
