Congratulations to Dirk Viljoen on his registration as a Professional Engineer (PrEng) with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA). After a full year of internal review by ECSA, we are proud of you for seeing this endeavour through to the end and excited for your future at Lukhozi!
Dirk is a Professional Engineer with ten years postgraduate experience in the structural engineering profession. Over the past ten years he has worked on various manufacturing related projects, whilst being responsible for safety in design and construction methodologies.
Dirk’s project experience encompasses project delivery on local and international soil. These projects include structural concrete design for a greenfields brewery in Mbarara, Uganda and Brownfields brewery project in Onitsha, Nigeria, both in accordance with international design criteria and specifications. Other projects include the successful delivery of various structural steel warehouses and related projects.
Dirk delivers on his own vision of leaving a legacy by continuously adding value to innovative sustainable solutions for his clients, whilst ensuring consistency of quality is achieved.
Dirk lives by the mottoes “work hard and play harder” and “The Credo of the African Engineer”, as he takes deep pride in his profession.
