East London IDZ Automould Factory Extension Update

5th Nov 2020
Lukhozi is excited to announce that a contractor has been appointed by the East London Industrial Development Zone (ELIDZ) for the extension to the Automould factory. Construction will be commencing in the second week of November 2020.

The factory is enclosed with a steel structure with a floor area of approximately 1,700sqm.  The structure will house an overhead crane with a safe working load of 30 tonnes. The project also includes modifications to the existing factory to address roofing and lighting defects. The work includes the removal of the existing skylights, minor modification to the roof structure, new roof sheeting in sections, the introduction of smoke ventilation and additional lighting.

Well done to WBHO/Pro-Khaya JV on their appointment and we look forward to continuing our good working relationship on another successful project.

This project is 1 of 6 factories within the ELIDZ where Lukhozi are the appointed Project Managers and is a showcase of our specialist expertise and skill in this discipline.
