Fort Cox College Phase 2: Sewer Services nearing completion!

The upgrading of the Wastewater Treatment ponds at the Fort Cox Agricultural College has progressed to the point of achieving practical completion, bringing to a close this 11-month contract.

The team at Lukhozi Consulting Engineers have been hard at work formalizing the old oxidation ponds to a standard that complies with the Department of Water and Sanitation’s (DWS) regulations.

This appointment by the Eastern Cape Department of Rural Development and Agrarian Reform (DRDAR), also included the installation of 2400 m of gravity sewers mains, a sewer sump pump and pumping main that serve the college’s various facilities.
