Greening the Future of Industry in East London!

We’re proud to unveil the Green Building Guidelines developed for the East London IDZ – ELIDZ– a transformative initiative led by Lukhozi Consulting Engineers and Ecolution in partnership with ELIDZ and a multidisciplinary team of experts. This project came to a close in July 2022, marking a key milestone.

The project delivers a comprehensive Environmental Response Plan for Zone 1A, comprising:

– The Sustainability Improvement Implementation Plan (SIIP) for the precinct
– Green Building Guidelines for Existing Developments (GBGe)
– Green Building Guidelines for Future Developments (GBGf)

These guidelines aim to achieve a 4-Star Green Star SA rating from the Green Building Council of South Africa (GBCSA) – a first for an industrial precinct in South Africa.
