Project Update: East London IDZ Bushveld Energy Manufacturing Plant

We are making good progress at the new manufacturing plant in the ELIDZ. Lukhozi has had the pleasure of Project Managing the design and construction of the new vanadium electrolyte manufacturing plant and upon completion, the plant will be one of five in the world.

This project is integral in stimulating the economy and was mentioned by Minster Ebrahim Patel at the Trade Industry and Competition Budget Vote 2021.

We’re definitely looking forward to this exciting project.

Construction commenced on 27 May 2021 and is currently on schedule.

The amazing project team consists of the ELIDZ (Client), Mpumalanga Construction (Main Contractor), S N P Architects, Imvelo Quantity Surveyors, HSC Structural and Civil Engineers & Carifro Electrical and Mechanical Engineers.

This project is 1 of 6 projects within the ELIDZ where Lukhozi are the appointed Project Managers.
